JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Financial Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with the Accounts Receivable cycle, including the distribution of monthly project invoices.
2. Completing bank deposits and following up on outstanding accounts receivable.
3. Maintaining sub-consultant insurance documentation by tracking compliance with our insurance and contractual obligations.
4. Entering project payables into Unanet.
5. Printing cheque runs for project payables.
6. Conducting monthly reconciliations of credit card statements and entering expenses into payables.
7. Performing administrative tasks such as filing, archiving, scanning, and photocopying.
8. Ensuring all work aligns with company policies, legal standards, and accounting best practices.
9. Undertaking additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications include:
- A background in Accounting is advantageous.
- Approximately 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience with Unanet AE is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- These qualifications may be reviewed by GGA management after the initial probationary period.
