Position Overview
We are looking for a Critical Care Nurse (RN) to become part of our vibrant interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will deliver direct patient care within our Intensive Care units. This position involves working collaboratively with the healthcare team while adhering to established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-focused care within the RN scope of practice
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members
- Assist in the assessment and documentation of patient health status
- Engage in the development and evaluation of clinical pathways
- Take on leadership roles in coordinating patient care
- Facilitate the orientation and training of new staff and students
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 1-3 years of experience in critical care nursing
- BCLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred
- Proven excellence in communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong dedication to customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated leadership skills and critical thinking capabilities
