Job Title: Truck Driver

Lakha Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure the safe operation of your vehicle, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records of vehicle condition and maintenance.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Load and unload goods, operate a tractor-trailer combination, and transport goods and materials across various routes.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Oversee the condition of your vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with regular sitting and standing required.
