About the Opportunity

WSP Canada is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our Infrastructure department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying Civil 3D knowledge to project work from conceptual design through to completion on land development projects for residential, commercial, and industrial subdivisions, municipal design, and related roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion.
  • Prepare engineering drawings to specified standards.
  • Design assistance and earthworks modeling.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting.
  • 5-9 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design.
  • Experience in working on the field would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D software is mandatory.
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a flexible attitude.
  • Capable of working independently.
