Job Title: Truck Driver

Million Miles Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent oral and written communication.
  • Teamwork: Work as part of a two-person team or convoy, and coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
Work Environment:

The work environment is dusty, and the job involves mountain driving expertise. The role requires professionalism in customer service, and the ability to work in a team environment.
