About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technologist to join our team at Top Quality Plastics Ltd. as a Design and Engineering Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and specifications for engineering projects
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for clients
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to work under tight deadlines
