About the Team
The Consumer Taxation Audit Branch (CTAB) plays a vital role in ensuring tax compliance throughout British Columbia. Key Responsibilities
As a Tax Compliance Auditor, you will be tasked with planning and executing audits for businesses in British Columbia. Comprehensive training will equip you to determine tax liabilities, propose audit assessments, and finalize agreements with taxpayers. Your efforts will contribute to identifying and recovering unpaid provincial revenues, which are essential for funding public services.

Qualifications
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA - CA, CGA, CMA) from a recognized Canadian Accounting Association, along with a minimum of two years of relevant audit or accounting experience.
Note: If your designation is from outside Canada, it must be assessed for equivalency by a recognized Canadian Accounting Association.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level, including experience with pivot tables and managing large datasets.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license or equivalent is required.
Additional Information
  • Willingness to travel outside the province for initial training may be necessary.
