Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Planning Associate to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As an Estate Planning Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our DS Investment Advisors, PH&N Investment Counsellors, and clients with insurance quotations, marketing assistance, and in-force policy servicing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials for Estate Planning Specialist meetings, including insurance applications, internal point of sale documentation, illustrations, and concepts.
  • Develop and prepare quotations for various insurance products.
  • Process new applications in our internal system and send them to the carrier.
  • Manage pending cases and take necessary actions to ensure their completion.
  • Build relationships with life company wholesalers, case coordinators, and underwriters to ensure efficient business handling.
  • Support and maintain an Inforce Service program.
  • Provide exceptional client service.
  • Design and implement marketing initiatives through social media using internal platforms and externally.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Insurance Agency or equivalent role within the industry.
  • Knowledge of Life and Living Benefits insurance products.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • Life Insurance Licensed, LLQP.
