Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a talented and self-directed individual to join our team as an Associate Advisor. As a key member of our Investment Advisor team, you will provide proactive advice and support to our clients and the Investment Advisor, helping deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your planning skills to facilitate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects, determining agenda and key topics, preparing documentation, and executing post-meeting work.
  • Provide proactive client service, tapping into your problem resolution skills to work collaboratively with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.
  • Effectively respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base.
  • Support the advisory team with new client acquisition and trading/portfolio rebalancing.
  • Conduct ongoing research on markets and investments and provide regular updates to the advisory team.
  • Support both the advisory team and clients throughout the Wealth Management process, coordinating activities with internal specialists, managing documentation, tracking progress, and following up.
Requirements
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.
  • University degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
