Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Specialist to join our team at the Leduc Regional Housing Foundation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in our residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in residential buildings
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Requirements:
  • Backflow prevention Certification
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work overtime as needed and may be required to work in confined spaces.
