As a key member of our team at TRUMPF, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our CNC machines. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and demonstrate TRUMPF CNC machines at customer locations, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine-related problems, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Accurately report technical conditions and information, maintaining detailed records of your work.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating your ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Travel extensively, up to 100%, to customer locations, both domestically and internationally.
  • Lift up to 70 pounds without assistance, demonstrating your physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interface with customers in a professional and organized manner, providing training and support on the use and repair of TRUMPF machines.
  • Submit regular reports, detailing your activities and accomplishments, in a complete and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with other Field Technicians as needed, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
  • Comfortably work at heights and in confined spaces, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.

Requirements:

  • Two-year technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience in computer software/file management is highly desirable.
