About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Manager to join our team at Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving DevOps practices to ensure efficient delivery of modern cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies and best practices to automate and streamline our software delivery processes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipeline tools for deploying applications across various environments (development, testing, staging, production).
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain processes and tooling for monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis efforts to ensure timely resolution of production issues and minimize downtime.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or similar) or equivalent combination of education and years of relevant work experience.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications are assets, but not required.
  • Knowledge/proficiency with of DevOps practices, CI/CD concepts/pipelines and tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance requirements in a cloud environment.
  • 10+ years experience in a DevOps (or related) position.
  • 5+ years experience with infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership or managerial position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) personal security clearance.
