As a Software Development Engineer on our Trusted Advisor team at Amazon, you will play a key role in shaping the way we do business in the cloud. We are re-architecting our rule engine and best practice processing services to be endlessly scalable, highly available, and capable of handling a diverse set of integrations with minimal developer involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and reliable systems to support batch calls at AWS cloud scale and immediately responsive UIs to millions of API requests per day
  • Collaborate with Amazon's Principal and Senior Engineers to grow your skills and expertise
  • Program in Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby, and have experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
