Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Power House Junior Kindergarten Ltd. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience.
  • Storytelling and Creative Expression: Engage children in storytelling, singing, and creative activities that foster imagination and self-expression.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors as required.
  • Health and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children, including planning and implementing measures to prevent accidents and illnesses.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in early childhood education, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, creativity, ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children.
