We are seeking a skilled Electronics Lab Technician to join our team at PML Sound International. As an Electronics Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of our high-quality consumer audio products.
Main Responsibilities:- Inspect and Test PCBs: Inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) for conformance to design specifications and perform electrical tests to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Build and Modify PCBs: Build, modify, and rework PCBs at various stages of the product design, from early prototypes to pre-production.
- Electrical Testing: Perform electrical tests of equipment at the board and system levels to ensure they function as intended.
- Parts Acquisition: Acquire electronic parts and equipment needed for projects.
- Lab Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and lab facility.
- Shipping and Receiving: Be responsible for shipping and receiving equipment and materials.
- Education: Post-secondary education in electronics or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience debugging electronics hardware and performing electrical tests at different levels.
- Skills: Excellent soldering skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Software and Tools: Familiarity with Google Workspace and PowerLogic/PowerPCB, understanding of analog and digital audio concepts.
