We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Health Nurse to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Public Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting health and preventing disease in our communities.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in public health/community nursing.
- Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic, Public or community health centre.
- Certifications and Licenses: Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work.
- Area of Work Experience: Health promotion, Emergency health care planning.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads.
- Screening Questions: Willingness to relocate for this position, Previous experience in this field of employment.
