About the Role

The Replenishment Analyst role is a full-time permanent position within Canadian Tire Corporation, offering a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. As a Replenishment Analyst, you will develop broad operational experience while managing replenishment for specific categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and manage supplier relationships, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Conduct data analysis and mining to inform replenishment strategies and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement rapid problem-solving solutions to address inventory and supply chain challenges.
  • Design and execute seasonal inventory and replenishment strategies to meet customer demand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Category Management, Forecasting, and Promotions, to introduce new products and maintain existing product assortments.
  • Develop and maintain Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) processes to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Oversee supply chain functions, including Operations Planning, Transportation, Distribution, and Inventory Management, to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Take ownership and direct accountability for results and metrics, driving continuous improvement and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Math, Business, or Commerce, with a demonstrated interest in operations and supply chain.
  • 2+ years of work experience, including co-op or internship experience, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Proven analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision making and working with numbers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to gain consensus with internal and external stakeholders.
