Position Overview

Perry Barbaro is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients, particularly the elderly and those with disabilities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
  • Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, though this is not a condition of employment.
  • Work will primarily take place in the employer's or client's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Handle laundry and maintain household linens.
  • Perform light cleaning and housekeeping duties.
