The Midas Store Manager is a key position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive repair shop. As a seasoned manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and service advisors to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule, and coach employees to ensure a high-performing team.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by listening and consulting with customers, following up on services requested, and ensuring timely completion of work.
- Operations Management: Oversee complete vehicle inspections, make comprehensive recommendations, and source parts to ensure efficient and effective repair processes.
- Sales and Marketing: Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers, promote shop service specials, and maintain inventory counts to drive sales growth.
- Financial Management: Oversee all sales, accounting, and clerical functions, including employee payroll, record-keeping of hours and scheduling, and updating and submitting daily sales reports to Corporate.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory counts, responsible for any inventory losses, and ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility, including environmental compliance.
- A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience.
- Excellent automotive knowledge.
- Excellent customer service disposition.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong POS computer and Internet skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Team-building skills.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekend evenings.
- Valid driver's license.
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
