Our expertise spans aerospace engineering, with the development of 15 distinct airtanker models and the conversion of numerous aircraft into airtankers. Additionally, we excel in aviation maintenance, conducting repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on our fleet. We also provide airtankers, crews, and maintenance services on contract during fire seasons to government agencies across Canada, the US, Australia, and France. Position OverviewReporting to the Airworthiness Manager, the Aircraft Modification and Production Coordinator plays a crucial role within the Airworthiness Team, primarily concentrating on modification initiatives, programs, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities Develop and organize modification visit packages and production work orders; Create, assign, and distribute work tasks based on evaluations of engineering drawing packages and production feedback; Serve as a liaison among Engineering, Production Team, and Supply Chain regarding drawing modifications and their impact on current and future inventory; Update and maintain the bill of materials and assess manufacturing methods; Conduct parts and materials research in collaboration with Engineers, Purchasers, Stores, and Production personnel; Enter material demands and follow up accordingly; Provide updates to internal and external customers regarding project milestones and timelines; Identify opportunities for process enhancements within assigned responsibilities and implement changes to improve efficiency and quality; Perform other related duties as required. Required Skills and Qualifications Highly organized and methodical, with a strong emphasis on efficiency; Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings; Solid understanding of manufacturing processes; Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain operations; Competent in utilizing office software; Excellent technical communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal; A dedicated team player focused on achieving deliverables. Education and Experience A minimum of 3 years in logistics planning, program planning, engineering, or project management; Experience in an aviation environment is preferred; Familiarity with materials or enterprise resource planning systems is essential; Project management training or experience is advantageous.
