Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Wolfville Nursing Homes Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our residents, and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Respond to resident care needs in accordance with individual care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the RN Supervisor and other members of the care team to ensure high-quality care
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and positivity in the workplace
Requirements
  • Ability to work all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of WHMIS and Fire Safety procedures
