Key Responsibilities- Restore and refinish worn-out furniture parts, including webbing, springs, and other components.
- Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install high-quality upholstery, ensuring attention to detail and precision.
- Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our furniture pieces.
- Repair and refinish furniture frames, restoring them to their original glory.
- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create intricate designs and patterns.
- Garnish the bottom and back of seats with interwoven rattan, adding a touch of elegance to our furniture pieces.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in furniture upholstery and repair.
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
