Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at AllTheWay Trucking Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding vehicle status and delivery schedules
  • Perform brake adjustments and perform preventive maintenance on the vehicle
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and handling hazardous materials
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
