Position Overview:

Hourly Bartender - Cineplex

The Bartenders at Cineplex play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to our guests. They are responsible for crafting and serving a variety of alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer, in a lively and engaging environment. Our Bartenders are approachable and knowledgeable, skilled in classic drink recipes while also being adaptable to guests' unique preferences. Key Responsibilities:

• Processing drink orders, preparing and serving beverages, handling payments, and operating the point-of-sale system.
• Ensuring a tidy workspace by cleaning up after patrons, disposing of empty bottles and waste, replacing beer kegs, and washing glassware and utensils.
• Overseeing inventory levels by tracking stock of wines, beers, and spirits, placing orders for bar supplies as needed, and restocking the bar with necessary items.
• Maintaining a secure environment by verifying guests' ages to comply with legal drinking regulations, assessing when a patron may have overindulged, and arranging safe transportation when necessary.

Qualifications:

This role may suit you well if you meet the following criteria:

• You possess a High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• You are of legal drinking age or older.
• You have at least 1-2 years of experience in bartending.
• You are available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Completion of bartending courses is preferred.
• You have a solid understanding of drink recipes.
• You demonstrate strong time management and organizational abilities.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You hold a valid certificate for the sale and service of alcohol.
