We are in search of a Senior Researcher specializing in Systems and Networking, with a focus on pioneering Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies aimed at enhancing system capabilities and fostering innovation. Required Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
PhD in computer science or a related discipline OR equivalent professional experience.Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of pertinent research experience OR equivalent professional background. Proven experience in publishing scholarly articles as a primary author or key contributor. Active participation in leading conferences within the relevant research area. Strong foundation in systems and networking, including familiarity with machine learning systems, databases, and networking technologies. In-depth understanding of recent advancements such as Agent Systems, Vector Databases, and Machine Learning Systems. A history of published research in AI-driven system innovation is advantageous.Research Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year.

Investigate cutting-edge AI-driven system methodologies and technologies to uncover opportunities for system enhancement and acceleration. Design and execute innovative methodologies, techniques, and algorithms to boost the performance, efficiency, and scalability of AI-driven systems. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including hardware and software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to facilitate the development and implementation of groundbreaking AI-driven system solutions. Remain informed about the latest trends, research, and advancements in AI, machine learning, and system architecture to ensure our systems lead in innovation. Assess the performance of AI-driven systems and offer recommendations for optimization and improvement. Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and other relevant platforms, and present results to both internal and external stakeholders. Mentor and support junior researchers and engineers in their research and development endeavors.
