Job Title: Director of Public Relations

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Public Relations to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective public relations strategies to promote our brand and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to increase awareness and build relationships with key stakeholders, including media, investors, and customers.
  • Manage and coordinate public relations activities, including media relations, crisis communications, and event planning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers to secure media coverage and promote our brand.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communications materials to promote our brand and reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to ensure our brand is represented positively and accurately.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure alignment and consistency in our communications efforts.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful public relations campaigns.
  • Strong media relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to develop and distribute high-quality communications materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and analyze media coverage and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and build relationships with external partners.
