Responsibilities- Conduct research and gather information from various stakeholders, including communities, patients, and staff, to inform our humanitarian advocacy efforts.
- Develop and implement strategic advocacy plans to raise awareness about the impact of conflict and neglect on communities and individuals.
- Collaborate with our teams to provide critical humanitarian medical care and support to those in need.
- Document and analyze the human impact of disasters and conflicts, using testimonies and stories to inform our advocacy efforts.
- Develop unbiased reports on a wide range of issues, including the efficacy of humanitarian responses, war crimes, and healthcare exclusion.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as anthropology, social or political science, law, or gender studies.
- Relevant work experience in data collection, qualitative research, human rights monitoring, and humanitarian advocacy.
- Minimum one year of experience in humanitarian advocacy in a context similar to where MSF works.
- Excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in managing staff in a multicultural team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of English, with proficiency in French (level B2) or another language (Arabic, Spanish).
- Previous experience working with international nongovernmental organizations, UN agencies, human rights organizations, or protection.
