Your Responsibilities:

As we transition Blue Prism Chorus to the cloud, we are looking for a dedicated developer who is enthusiastic about modernizing Chorus and ensuring its longevity as a product. Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business needs
  • Delivering code enhancements with minimal guidance
  • Maintaining and documenting software functionality and practices
  • Prototyping, refining, testing, and debugging programs as necessary
  • Participating in design discussions and assessing user requirements to determine functional specifications
  • Implementing designs using appropriate development languages and tools
  • Conducting unit testing and providing input for code specification development
  • Identifying and resolving moderate issues through data analysis
  • Considering dependencies in planning and decision-making
  • Applying industry best practices in software development
  • Conducting performance tuning to ensure scalability and performance standards are met
  • Recognizing opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
  • Addressing complex issues through detailed analysis of various data sets

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field; or Master's degree (recent graduate); or 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with source code management systems (e.g., Git)
  • Proficiency in Java, React, .NET, or other programming languages
  • Experience in developing and maintaining SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of Web, GraphQL, RESTful Services Development
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • A commitment to continuous learning and the ability to quickly acquire new skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a global team
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Adherence to software development standards and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Accountability and ownership of deliverables
