General Laborer in Construction

Position: Construction Laborer

Type: Permanent role

Environment: English-speaking workplace

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Education: No formal qualifications necessary

Work Conditions: Outdoor settings, including heights and confined spaces, with potential hazards such as dust and debris

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting various structures
  • Pouring and shaping materials
  • Framing and leveling ground
  • Paving surfaces
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas

Equipment Experience: Familiarity with tools such as bobcats, concrete saws, and nail guns is beneficial

Specialization: Focus on residential construction projects

Requirements:

  • Personal transportation and steel-toed safety boots are mandatory
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting (up to 23 kg)
  • Essential personal attributes include flexibility, reliability, and teamwork
