Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at SIL Plastic Sales & Supplies. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, and meeting customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
- Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring and promotions, to ensure the team is well-equipped to meet production demands.
- Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
- Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure that production needs are met.
- 3-4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of improving productivity and product quality.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field an asset.
