CPP Investments is a global investment organization seeking a skilled Procurement Contract Analyst to support the end-to-end contracting lifecycle process.

The successful candidate will manage contract data, collaborate with the Legal team, and ensure alignment with category strategy and approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contract data quality and validate intake forms within the CLM tool.
  • Support Contract Owners in contract creation and review, utilizing intake forms, directives, and guidance from the Legal team.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to ensure alignment with category strategy and approach.
  • Work with the Legal team to ensure regulatory and legal contractual terms are drafted appropriately.
  • Liaise with third-party risk management counterparts to incorporate risk considerations into agreements.
  • Support and follow up on authorizations and approvals for contracts.
  • Facilitate vendor negotiation discussions and support Contract Owners in releasing contract renewals or amendments.
  • Maintain contract records and manage contract versions.
  • Proactively track pipeline for upcoming contract expiry and follow up with Contract Owners.
  • Handle day-to-day activities throughout the end-to-end contract lifecycle processes.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with contract terminologies and their implications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in written communication skills and contract management software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple engagements across various business teams.

Candidates should possess a university degree or diploma education, preferably in business administration or paralegal courses, and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in contract management.
