Public Entities Claims Advisor, Intact Insurance

At Intact Public Entities, we're dedicated to providing comprehensive insurance programs for municipal and community service organizations. As a Claims Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients are protected against standard and complex risks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice to claims and underwriting functions to improve company guidelines and programs.
- Engage in special projects to examine the Claims function and develop ways to improve processes and personnel.
- Determine key measures to monitor service levels and effectiveness of Claims personnel.
- Conduct periodic audits of claims files to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Lead the development of technical claims training programs.
- Provide consultation on large and complicated claims files.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Ten years of relevant experience in claims management, including casualty liability and property.
- Litigation experience is an asset.
- Technical expertise in claims management and extensive experience in coverage analysis, investigation, and quantum evaluation.
- Experience and knowledge of Alternate Dispute Resolution.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented.
