About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Macs Convenience Store Inc/Circle K Convenience Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, tabulate total payments, and receive payment for goods or services.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean the Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • Work with Electronic Systems: Operate an electronic cash register and Interac machine.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, and a team player.
What We Offer
