Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Evaluator to join our team at pt Health. As a Vocational Evaluator, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with disabilities or injuries to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to assess their vocational potential and identify transferable skills.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans that cater to the client's needs and goals.
  • Conduct labour market surveys and research to identify suitable employment opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports that provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide one-on-one support and group facilitation in employment preparation topics.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in vocational evaluation, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field.
  • Designation as a Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE) or Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional with a TSA Pathway (CVRP-TSA) is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or other transferable post-secondary education.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of procedures and resources for assessing transferable skills.
  • Valid BC driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
