Job Title: Building Construction Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Building Construction Electrician to join our team at Shree Electrical Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various construction settings. This includes working at heights, in dusty environments, and handling heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
  • Splice, join and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems
  • Supervise other workers
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
  • Commission systems and components
Requirements
  • Electrician Trade Certification
  • Working at heights training
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding job. They will be required to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
