Sr. IT Developer:.NET, C#

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Developer to join our Equity Derivatives team. As a key member of our technology team, you will design and develop innovative solutions to address business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform business requirements into winning delivery solutions that meet performance goals.
  • Develop full stack applications from UI to app services.
  • Perform systems administration, monitoring, configuration, backup, authentication, and tuning.
  • Aim for defect-free programming, create and maintain quality code, and provide support during testing cycles and post-production deployment.
  • Contribute to project plans, estimations, and status updates.
  • Identify issues, develop and maintain processes to address and resolve them, and communicate with stakeholders as needed.
  • Make enhancements and troubleshoot applications.
  • Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities and follow standard security practices.
  • Complete unit and integration testing per standards and design specs.
  • Respect TD's technology delivery practices and standards, project management disciplines.
  • Apply and share technical expertise during incident management life cycle.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 3-5 years of solid hands-on C# programming experience on the Microsoft stack, including ASP.NET MVC development.
  • Web knowledge is beneficial (our UI is Angular but web app experience in general is appreciated).
  • DBs: Oracle / Mongo.
  • Middleware exposure is useful e.g. MQ / Caching.
  • Azure or Google cloud knowledge/experience is also useful.
  • Experience in Equity Derivative technology teams and equity derivatives knowledge is a big plus.
  • Strength in coaching and advising clients, partners, and project teams.
