In-Home Child Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Child Care Specialist to provide exceptional care for children in a home environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
This role involves working in a non-smoking household, where you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily household activities in the absence of parents.
- Conducting light housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness.
- Accompanying the family during travel and assisting with child care duties.
- Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
- Implementing parents' disciplinary strategies effectively.
- Teaching essential personal hygiene and social skills to children.
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
- Preparing and serving healthy meals.
- Supervising and engaging with children during activities.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- Certificates: Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Personal Attributes: Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, flexibility, initiative, sound judgment, organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work as a team player.
This is a permanent position offering approximately 30 hours of work per week. Parking is available for employees. The primary language of communication will be English.
