Job Summary
The Heavy Machinery Operator is a key member of our team at Scierie La Sarre. As a skilled operator, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy machinery to meet the production needs of our mill.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and perform daily maintenance tasks
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve production goals
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of machinery operations and safety protocols
Requirements
- DEP in heavy machinery operation or relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions
Our mill operates on a 4-3 or 5-2 schedule, with a competitive hourly rate of $30.67.
