About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Developer to join our team at Robots & Pencils. Key Responsibilities
  • Client Product Development: Collaborate with our product team to design and develop client-facing web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Mobile API and Web Application Development: Build scalable and efficient mobile APIs and web applications that meet the needs of our clients and our own products.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Participate in peer review of code and ensure that all code meets our high standards of quality and maintainability.
  • Technical Support and Collaboration: Provide technical insights and support to our sales and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Apply your technical expertise and knowledge to resolve complex issues and challenges, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years of relevant professional experience in Front End Development, with a preference for those with a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or completion of a Tech Bootcamp.
  • Technical Skills: Robust knowledge of native JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a preference for working with preprocessors like SASS or LESS. Experience with precompilers such as Webpack and Babel. Familiarity with React or Angular, and proficiency in working with APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, strong understanding of responsive design and development, experience with test-driven development and basic understanding of QA processes, and knowledge of project management techniques.
