Corporate Credit Investment Manager – Focus on Non-Financial Corporates

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Corporate Credit Portfolio Manager/Researcher specializing in non-Financial corporate sectors. This role is pivotal in managing the portfolio of high-grade and high-yield investments across various sectors. The successful candidate will conduct corporate credit research, assess trading prospects in Developed Markets using relative-value methodologies, and identify new investment opportunities aimed at generating alpha in the group's tradable credit assets, which include corporate bonds, credit ETFs, structured finance, and credit derivatives.
Role Significance
Our Public Credit division is dedicated to the creation and management of scalable alpha strategies, providing an exceptional opportunity for professional development and growth. The position encompasses overseeing the entire investment lifecycle, with a clear trajectory towards trading and portfolio management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive credit research within designated non-Financial corporate credit sectors.
- Identify and investigate new alpha-generating investment opportunities in the North American High Grade and High Yield Bond Market.
- Manage and monitor the public credit portfolio, ensuring alignment with our investment strategies and strategic goals.
- Generate and evaluate portfolio metrics, risk assessments, and performance analytics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance portfolio performance and risk management practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in corporate credit trading, research, and/or credit portfolio management specifically in non-Financial sectors.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, focusing on research or analysis in the implementation and monitoring of credit relative value strategies, or in the management of credit securities.
- Exemplary judgment, professionalism, and integrity.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a thorough understanding of public credit strategies.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
