Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

ON-ROUTE TRANSPORT LTD is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy loads. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.
