We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our bakery team at Yoshi Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers.
- Frosting and Decorating: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
As a member of our bakery team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. You will be required to work in a team setting and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
