About the Role

Our client, a prominent law firm in Western Canada, is seeking a Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This position is based in their Langley office and is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Conducting conflict searches and managing client file openings.
  • Ensuring proper client identification and verification processes are followed.
  • Preparing retainer agreements and maintaining organized documentation.
  • Formatting legal documents and managing commercial transaction tasks such as coordinating electronic signatures.
  • Assisting with closings, payouts, and preparing trust-related documents.
  • Handling correspondence, including sending and receiving letters and packages.
  • Coordinating calendars for attorneys, scheduling meetings, and setting up virtual appointments.
  • Performing additional administrative duties as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a corporate environment.
  • A Legal Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Familiarity with electronic document management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • The capacity to manage a high volume of work in a dynamic setting.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Compensation and Benefits
