Our client, a prominent law firm in Western Canada, is seeking a Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This position is based in their Langley office and is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Conducting conflict searches and managing client file openings.
- Ensuring proper client identification and verification processes are followed.
- Preparing retainer agreements and maintaining organized documentation.
- Formatting legal documents and managing commercial transaction tasks such as coordinating electronic signatures.
- Assisting with closings, payouts, and preparing trust-related documents.
- Handling correspondence, including sending and receiving letters and packages.
- Coordinating calendars for attorneys, scheduling meetings, and setting up virtual appointments.
- Performing additional administrative duties as required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a corporate environment.
- A Legal Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- The capacity to manage a high volume of work in a dynamic setting.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 – $72,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our client provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
