Mercer Celgar is looking for a meticulous professional to become a part of our Operational Excellence Team as a Process Engineer.

The Process Engineer will take charge of executing technical initiatives, designing processes, and guiding junior personnel. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical leadership capabilities and strong data analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement technical initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and quality
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of kraft pulp production and relevant industry technologies
  • Recognize and mitigate waste or inefficiencies within the mill
  • Foster the development of junior team members
  • Support the integration of technological advancements in the workplace

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in the industry
  • Excellent time management and decision-making abilities
  • Currently registered or eligible for registration with EGBC

Compensation:

  • $96,144.00 annually
