Manager, Harm Reduction – 1.0 FTE Internal/External

The Manager of Harm Reduction is a key member of the management team at North End Community Health Centre, providing leadership to the Managed Alcohol Program (MAP) and the Safe Supply Program. This role is responsible for delivering, executing, and evaluating these programs, which aim to support community members experiencing chronic health and social stigma related to alcohol and substance use.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the MAP and Safe Supply teams to support the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values.
- Deliver and execute the MAP and Safe Supply programs, including guiding teams to promote wellness, maintain health, and prevent disease or serious exacerbation of disease using a social determinants of health framework.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide services and activities that promote wellness, maintain health, and prevent disease or serious exacerbation of disease.
- Develop and implement strategies to address the social determinants of health and reduce health inequities in the community.
- Bachelor's degree in social or health fields, addictions, or community work required.
- Minimum of two years of community health experience, or equivalent setting, working in a community outreach setting with community members who use substances.
