Our Horizontal Infrastructure (HI) Business Unit has successfully executed some of the most significant infrastructure projects in Canada, emphasizing quality and client satisfaction. Our team, consisting of Planners, Engineers, and Contract Administrators, is dedicated to providing infrastructure solutions that promote economic growth and social well-being.
We pride ourselves on delivering a positive customer experience throughout Canada, from the initial project phase to design development and construction completion. Our national HI group, composed of engineers, technicians, and support staff with diverse expertise in design and construction, is committed to providing exceptional technical work and customer service. This team has built a strong reputation through the successful delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the design process from feasibility to completion, engaging directly with clients on major projects.
- Conduct detailed electrical design work and oversee the contributions of junior designers.
- Lead the CAD team in preparing drawings and review all deliverables before client submission.
- Draft comprehensive reports based on electrical assessments and audits of buildings.
- Prepare tender documents and technical specifications, evaluating products and contractor proposals to make informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with management to formulate business strategies aimed at attracting new clients and identifying growth opportunities in electrical engineering.
- Assist in proposal development and outreach to potential clients to expand business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- P.Eng. registration in Canada is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering consulting.
- Proficiency in CAD is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD versions 2006/2004/2008/2010 is necessary.
- Familiarity with lighting software and basic engineering principles is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
