The primary objective of a Vacation Package Specialist is to curate and sell comprehensive travel experiences to clients, encompassing lodging, activities, and transportation, through various communication channels such as online chat, email, and phone. This role emphasizes the importance of nurturing strong relationships with a diverse customer base while upholding a high standard of service to drive and sustain sales performance.Work shifts consist of 4 x 10 hour days. Core Responsibilities Serve as a representative of Tourism Whistler, embodying our mission and vision with enthusiasm, dedication, and respect. Handle incoming calls, provide estimates for vacation inquiries, and address customer queries via emails and voice messages. Conduct various outbound communications, including concierge services, upselling opportunities, and customer-focused outreach. Engage effectively with Online Chat inquiries, providing quotes and actively pursuing sales leads generated through online interactions. Achieve or surpass individual and team sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Communicate proficiently with clients, vendors, and colleagues. Respond to all customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities In-depth knowledge of the Whistler area. Strong time management abilities, with the capacity to remain organized and multitask in a dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, through telephone, online chat, and email. Dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Keen attention to detail. Proficient problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously. Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and various cloud-based software.
