We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Boundary Hospital in Grand Forks, B.C. This is a relief part-time opportunity until May 25, 2025, or until the return of the incumbent.
Key Responsibilities- Practice in a variety of clinical settings and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of client care.
- Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care.
- Assist individual clients and their families in responding to changing healthcare needs.
- Demonstrate a specialized body of knowledge and base practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
The Boundary Hospital is a busy level 1 community hospital with a catchment population of approximately 12,000 residents. The hospital has 10 stretchers and 1 trauma bay, and the emergency department typically sees 1300 emergency visits each month.
Grand Forks is a community of around 4,000 residents, considered the 'hub' of the Boundary Region. The community offers four-season living with recreational activities to match, and its strong community commitment to healthy living, affordability, and great quality of life makes it an attractive place to live and work.
Requirements- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
