About the Role:

Topline Farms is seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of containers, materials, and products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Weigh, measure, and count products and materials to verify accuracy.
  • Document product, packaging, and other information on detailed forms.
  • Compare inspection data with receiving records to ensure accurate quantities and sizes, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Take photos and prepare quality reports.
  • Communicate with the Quality Coordinator or Supervisor for day-to-day inspection priorities.
  • Report damages, shortages, and non-conformances to the Quality Control Coordinator, Supervisor, or Manager.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English.
  • Ability to communicate issues or concerns to the appropriate parties.
  • Basic math calculation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Famous is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently or on a team, with limited supervision.
  • Positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment.
