About the Role:
Topline Farms is seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of containers, materials, and products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Weigh, measure, and count products and materials to verify accuracy.
- Document product, packaging, and other information on detailed forms.
- Compare inspection data with receiving records to ensure accurate quantities and sizes, reporting any discrepancies.
- Take photos and prepare quality reports.
- Communicate with the Quality Coordinator or Supervisor for day-to-day inspection priorities.
- Report damages, shortages, and non-conformances to the Quality Control Coordinator, Supervisor, or Manager.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English.
- Ability to communicate issues or concerns to the appropriate parties.
- Basic math calculation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
- Knowledge of Famous is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently or on a team, with limited supervision.
- Positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment.
