We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Strickland's. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our building, including tasks such as cleaning, repairs, and equipment operation.
Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain the building's interior and exterior, including floors, walls, and windows
- Operate industrial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and polishing machines
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
- Move heavy furniture and equipment
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Work with minimal supervision
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
- Dependability, initiative, and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
